MetroWest Medical Center Invests in Mobile Radiology Imaging System

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – MetroWest Medical Center welcomes the addition of a mobile radiology imaging system, the Philips Zenition 70 Cardiovascular C-arm.  This new technology demonstrates MetroWest Medical Center’s commitment to meeting the needs of the MetroWest region while delivering quality care to the communities it serves.

The mobile radiology imaging system offers high-definition imaging, ease of use, and features that can reduce the need for repositioning patients to minimize discomfort during a procedure. This imaging system can be used in surgery, interventional radiology, vascular, orthopedic, spine, and other specialty areas that require imaging for a procedure.

This latest technology delivers among the best image quality, speed and maneuverability. The premium feature set is designed for demanding cases. It is constructed to increase operating room performance with user-friendly controls, efficient timesaving tools, and a platform geared for high uptime as well as the ability to improve efficiency and throughput. The Zenition technology also provides reductions in x-ray dosing emphasizing our dedication to patient safety. It will make a difference in so many ways from efficiency to clinical quality to physician satisfaction as well as offering an improved patient experience and increased staff satisfaction.
