The MetroWest Medical Center Medical Staff Presents Special Recognition Awards at Their Annual Meeting

Framingham, MA – December 30, 2019 – MetroWest Medical Center congratulates 2 of its physicians on staff who won awards at the annual Medical Staff Dinner. Dr. Angela Hunt and Dr. Fred Kaplan were honored with distinguished awards, chosen by their peers.

MWMC-Physician-AwardsThe George Ellsworth, MD Award for Physician Citizenship goes to a physician who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and acts as a role model to others. Fred Kaplan, MD, a cardiologist is presented with this designation.

The Paul Griffel, MD Award for Distinguished Community Based Care is awarded to a physician who is particularly looked up to by his/her patients because of the clinical care they provide. Angela Hunt, MD (Pediatrician) is honored to have this award.
