The MetroWest Medical Center Medical Staff Presents Special Recognition Awards at Their Annual Meeting

Framingham, MA – December 30, 2019 – MetroWest Medical Center congratulates 2 of its physicians on staff who won awards at the annual Medical Staff Dinner. Dr. Angela Hunt and Dr. Fred Kaplan were honored with distinguished awards, chosen by their peers.

The George Ellsworth, MD Award for Physician Citizenship goes to a physician who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and acts as a role model to others. Fred Kaplan, MD, a cardiologist is presented with this designation.

The Paul Griffel, MD Award for Distinguished Community Based Care is awarded to a physician who is particularly looked up to by his/her patients because of the clinical care they provide. Angela Hunt, MD (Pediatrician) is honored to have this award.
